Hello Highway Country! I'm Barry Roberts, the afternoon guy from 3 to 6pm on the Hot Country Highway US104.

Barry's Bio

I was born and raised in Marshalltown, Iowa, which is about an hour north of Des Moines. I've been in country radio since I was in high school. I worked for KIX 101.1 for over 5 years till I graduated college at Marshalltown Community College. I decided to be brave, make a life change and move out of my hometown and move to Sioux Falls in 2003 and only do work in radio part-time but that didn't last very long because radio is my true passion. I worked at Gateway for a year then decided to get back into radio full time again. I was at Kickin' 100.5 for over four years then got out of country radio and helped launch a new radio station at the Results Radio/Cumulus Media cluster in Sioux Falls, Easy & Fun 100.1 until 2009. Now here I am now at US104 and loving every minute of it.

Barry's Hobbies

I love to hang out on Facebook, hang out with friends, listen to music, go to concerts, and hit the bike trail along with the normal things in life. I'm also a huge country music fan too as it's a huge passion of mine and Reba McEntire is #1 in my book.
